From residential neighborhoods and golf courses to cattle pastures, we trap it all. Feral hogs can pose a threat to native wildlife as well as humans or pets. Once you realize that you have a hog problem you must act fast! Feral hogs can have up to 1-1/2 litters a year and up to 14 piglets per litter! Contact us for a free consultation on your hog problem and we will take the necessary steps to eliminate it!
Before we can begin to remove the feral hogs we must first scout the area to determine where the hogs are residing and their entry and exit into the afflicted area. Through this scouting process we will also be able to estimate the number of feral hogs that are in the area and determine the optimal location to place the trap.
Once the location of the trap has been determined we will erect the trap and bait the area to lure feral hogs into the enclosure. A motion sensor live feed camera will be mounted facing the trap that will alert our team that there is movement in the trapping vicinity. Feral hogs travel in groups known as “sounders” and with our strategically placed live feed cameras we will be able to determine the number of feral hogs in that sounder. Once the entire sounder has entered into our trapping enclosure we will trigger our gate to drop via text message capturing them. All feral hogs are removed from the trap alive!
